Kowloon Tong School has been thriving over the years and has nurtured a great number of students. To ensure the school’s continuous development and provision of higher quality and more diverse learning opportunities, we are now launching the Inheriting KTS Spirit, Nurturing Tomorrow's Leaders Programme. We sincerely invite donations from all sectors. Let’s cultivate future leaders together!

Building a sustainable green campus
Our school places great importance on providing a conducive environment for students' growth, with the following initiatives:
The school is committed to preserving the original appearance of the campus through conservation efforts and maintenance, aiming to utilize the historically significant school buildings as a medium for educating students. This allows stakeholders to appreciate the school's decades-long history and the efforts of previous generations. Furthermore, by showcasing the traditional Chinese architectural features, students gain a deeper understanding of Chinese culture and its fusion with scientific principles.
The school is dedicated to becoming a sustainable green campus by implementing various facilities such as hydroponics systems, aquaponics systems, a Chinese herb garden, greenhouse renovations, and further development of organic farming. These initiatives provide students with more hands-on opportunities while aligning with the school's environmental policies.
Enhancing KTS's Digital Teaching Resources
In addition to the continuous enhancement and reform of the curriculum, the school has been keeping up to date with the global trend of digital education. Therefore, the school plans to implement the following in the future:
Convert the existing "Innovative Technology Studio" into the "Collaborative Learning Space for Innovation and Technology", that has been designed as a highly flexible and multi-functional learning environment
Install various electronic equipment, such as digital devices for sport, electronic whiteboards, laptops, laser cutters, and a variety of programming components
Upgrade the speed and voltage of the entire school network
Develop an e-learning platform for more independent learning
It is hoped that by enhancing the school's digital teaching resources, not only will the effectiveness of teaching and learning be further strengthened, but students will also be led to step out of the traditional learning framework and engage in real-time interactions and exchanges with schools and outstanding alumni around the world, thereby expanding students' global perspectives and knowledge.
Establishing Scholarships and Grants for Students
The school has always encouraged student participation in various academic and non-academic activities to broaden their horizons and develop a global perspective. Therefore, the school plans to establish the following student-centric rewards and grants:
Scholarships:
Recognizing outstanding academic and non-academic achievements to motivate students to continue their efforts and achieve excellence in their respective fields
Activity Allowances:
Providing financial support for designated teams of students to participate in training, exchanges, visits, or experiential learning activities related to their team goals. This encourages their active involvement and provides them with diverse experiences to broaden their horizons.

Nurturing Tomorrow's Leaders
Fostering tomorrow's leaders remains a core focus of our school. As we optimize our campus, we will incorporate historical and cultural elements from the school and the community to instill a sense of care for both. Chinese cultural elements showcased on campus will serve as educational tools to develop students' national identity.
Simultaneously, the school plans to implement a series of leadership training activities that connect the community and the world, with the following strategies:
Collaborating with community arts groups to provide performance venues, training facilities, or co-organize workshops, benefiting students and parents through a harmonious school-community relationship. This allows for the sharing of mutual resources and enhances the cultural atmosphere on campus, enabling students to participate in a wide range of local and cross-cultural activities to expand their horizons
Organizing events that connect with the community as a platform for KTS leadership training, showcasing, and service-learning. This allows students to contribute to the community by introducing the school's and the community's history and culture to community members such as citizens, local kindergartens, the elderly, and even minority groups. This serves as a form of community education and outreach.
